I converted a photo to black and white and then was experimenting with the clone tool to remove some of the background when I discovered the great diagonal sketch effect you see in the final picture. You have to select the right area to clone and then you get these wonderful streaks!
Why thank you. Although I obviously 'posed' it was a one off shot (i.e. not taken over and over to get a good photo).
I forgot to mention that I must have also applied a filter after converting to black and white. It could have been a posterise type filter but I can't quite remember.
Looks funky, how did you do that?
