Spring Blossoms

Apparently today was to be the day that most people would call in to work sick. It's certainly a season when it's easy to feel low. It's cold and miserable, there's a lull after all the Christmas parties and everybody seems to be sick.

We all need something to look forward to and keep us driving forward. For me, that shining light on the horizon is Japan again. My saviour! I plan to visit in early April and hope to catch some of the cherry blossom season. I can't wait!

How many days do you get off each year!! Or are you not getting paid for those days off. :P

My number of days off has increased to 24 this year due to some sort of EU ruling. Wohoo!

Besides that, my company does holidays from Jan-Dec so I've basically just got my new allowance.

Really??! I only get 10 days......
I'm moving to London! haha.
I should just screw it and take unpaid leave to go to Japan. :p

10 days? Where do you live? I hope you get lots of public holidays like they do in Japan.

Yes, unpaid leave is always an option.
