    Thanks. The reward of this photo makes up a little for the afternoon of freezing wet feet!

    Hello Darren san!!
    Im kako who lives in Tokyo.It’s my first meeting you.

    I never heard of Enryakuji…so I googled it’s in Hieizan right??(when I first saw this pic and thought it’s somewhere China.)hope I could make a trip to this beautiful place someday!!
    oh and hope you didn’t get cold after taking this photo:)

    You live in Tokyo but you’ve never heard of Enryaku-ji? Are you Japanese?

    I think I already had a cold at the time I took the photo! It was a tough trip.

    I was away from Japan for few years…
