This afternoon I was passing through Leicester Square taking a few photos when I noticed BT Tower in the distance. A message scrolled across it: ‘Come on England!’ Unfortunately, it didn’t work out this evening, though.

Japan really needs to get a result if they are to stand any chance of progressing. Fingers crossed Tulio doesn’t score any more own goals!

Whatever happened to those traditionally strong teams? Players too worn out by their respective Leagues?
