Surely one of the greatest things ever to come out of Japan is Capcom’s Street Fighter franchise. If you like your fighters, you’ll no doubt be aware of this week’s release of Super Street Fighter IV – in the UK, the official release date is Friday 30th April.
I was in London’s Piccadilly Circus waiting for some friends and decided to kill some time by dropping into HMV. A familiar set of sounds emanated from the room next door so I went to have a look. In the gaming section, a large room where you can sit down and play networked PC and console games, Super Street Fighter IV was being played on six Xbox 360s!

Mine was shipped from ShopTo today so should arrive tomorrow, a day before release date! It’s just a shame I won’t be at home tomorrow evening
