Let it Snow

Even though the UK has been hit by so much snow over the past couple of weeks it hasn’t really settled overnight where I live in London. Until last night, anyway.

On the way to work I happily walked through the shallow snow. It beats ice, any day. I had to laugh as I guy rode past on bicycle singing, ‘Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.’

I thought we were just about to get rid of the snow. This evening I got the shovel out again for a third time. We only got about 2 inches of snow this time, so not as bad as last time.

Not complaining, I like the snow :)

  • Yeah, count yourself lucky you got so much of it :)

i love snow! but too bad, there isn’t any here …

  • Well, it can make life difficult so maybe you aren’t missing out too much.

  • Happy belated New Year!
How are things with you? Having fun in your new job?
I read that Europe is like totally snowed in right now, and I’m kinda glad I’m not in Europe right now ;p

Got my German Proficiency Test results–it does seem like that is easier than JLPT, while I passed my JLPT 2 quite some years back, I’m thinking if I’m ready to restart my quest for Level 1….

  • Hiya - welcome back and Happy New Year.

I take it the news was good regarding the German Proficiency Test? That’s good to hear! Yes, it’s got to be time for JLPT level 1! Or maybe you could try one of the newer levels - isn’t there one that it’s between the old level 1 and level 2?

Yes, we had a lot of snow which is unusual, particularly in London. Most of it has now melted and the past couple of days have been relatively warm. I wonder if there’s any more snow on the way?
