Personally, I love both colour photography and black and white photography. Sometimes it’s clear when black and white would be preferable to colour but other times it can be hard to decide. Which of the two images here do you prefer and why?
In the colour version of photo here, I like the bright red bus which although a little distracting also highlights the woman in the shot. Plus, you’ve got the nice blues of the lights in the trees. On the other hand, I like the elegance and simplicity of black and white photo. It also lends a kind of lonely feeling which is how this woman looked from afar.

i prefer the colour one here…it gives me a cozy feeling with the warm lights, and the red too

Looking at the pictures again the colour version here is a little over-processed as I reused the resized image. I.e. the image in this composite was resized and sharpened twice as I was too lazy to go back to the original edits.
I prefer the colour one here as well. B&W can be good when used in the right situations.
