Unless you’ve been living under a rock you must have at least heard of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2‘s worldwide release today – even my Mum heard about it on the news.
In the UK, Sainsburys and Morrisons ended up offering the console version of game for £26, much lower than pre-order prices and much lower than the somewhat unbelievable official RRP of £44.99. Surprisingly my family picked me up a copy in their local Sainsburys so I guess that’s my Christmas present sorted!
Even though I really enjoyed the first Modern Warfare, I am in no particular rush to play the second. I was still debating the PC vs Xbox 360 decision but that’s been taken care of all on its own.
If you’ve got the game I hope you are enjoying it – any comments? Have Infinity Ward outdone themselves once again?
Got it, installed it, but haven’t played it. One thing I am pleased about is Amazon refunded me £5 on the price I pre-ordered it for because it was being sold for less on the release day. Makes me happy
