Thanks to the superb NextGEN plugin I have now migrated my old photo galleries to Wordpress. Check them out on the new photos page.

I love the way images pop up and you can click next and previous without having to load separate pages. The PicLens slideshow isn’t a bad add-on either and though I’m not too sure the slideshow feature is required I thought I’d try it out in any case.

All in all it easily took the best part of today (what better way to spend a bank holiday Monday?) to tidy up my images, rename them, upload and organise them for display. It was a long process but the good news is that adding galleries in the future should be much simpler.
